Olympic Spectacle!
Whether you were a supporter or detractor of the "big show" that settled into Vancouver, there certainly was no question it was BIG!
While many were absorbed with the games themselves (with a record setting medal count for Canada it is no wonder!), I took special interest in the spectacle and events around the games. There were so many things to do with venues and "houses" all over the city.
ZIPLINE OVER VANCOUVER:
It was only an 18 second ride but they had line ups of 6 to 7 hours!
Was it worth it? Many say YES!

"HOUSES" ALL OVER THE CITY:
Russia turned our Science World into "Russia Dome" , the Swiss converted Bridges Restaurant to "Swiss House" (with free chocolates) and there were tons of places to visit - with musicians from all over. What a hoot!

DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE: A crazy plan... After missing the train back from Whistler we needed to find a place to sleep for the night... Trying to do this in the "hardest place in North America to get accommodation"... was considered impossible!
